Billy Bragg [ tickets ] returns to the US this fall for another round of headlining dates, playing material off of his latest studio set, "Mr. Love & Justice."

The veteran British singer/songwriter, who toured the Western half of the US in June, kicks off the fall run Oct. 17 in State College, PA. Dates for the 11-city tour are shown below.

Bragg has also lined up a European run in late September and early October, as well as a raft of UK shows for November. Check the performer's website for full details on international dates.

"Mr. Love & Justice," which Bragg dropped in April, is the politically outspoken singer's 12th studio album, and second with his new backing band, The Blokes.

The set is available in a limited edition that includes a second disc featuring Bragg performing solo versions of the album's 12 tracks, accompanying himself on acoustic-electric guitar.

"It's a Billy Bragg album, but it’s got The Blokes playing on it," Bragg said in an interview earlier this year with the UK's Uncut magazine. "The thing that's different is that on the last album The Blokes did quite a lot of writing with me. This one is all my own work."

Bragg's previous studio effort, 2002's "England, Half-English," featured the single "Take Down the Union Jack," a protest song against Queen Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee celebrations. The song netted the politically active singer the No. 22 spot on the UK singles chart.
