Black Eyed Peas join Ultra Music Fest headliners

The Black Eyed Peas will join previously announced artists for the Ultra Music Festival , scheduled for March 27-28 during the Winter Music Conference in Miami, according to a press release. The band's appearance will precede the release of "The E.N.D.," the Peas' first original album since 2005's "Monkey Business."

Several other performers have been added to the line-up for the electronic and alternative music festival including MSTRKRFT , Shiny Toy Guns , Josh Wink , Stanton Warriors, Heidi, The Bloody Beetroots, Riton, Rye Rye, La Riots, Goldfish and mainstage visual artist Vjv2 Vello Virkhaus, among others.

BT also will perform two UMF sets--a live set Friday and his laptop symphony Saturday. Additionally, the festival announced that previously booked Booka Shade has been moved to Saturday's main stage for a sunset performance.

The Black Eyed Peas--featuring Will.I.Am, Fergie, Apl.De.Ap and Taboo--join previously announced UMF artists including The Prodigy, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Bloc Party, Santogold, The Ting Tings, Steve Lawler, Perry Farrell, and Roni Size Reprazent, among others.

The Ultra Music Festival will be held at Bicentennial Park in downtown Miami. Tickets are available via the event website.
