R&B singer Brian McKnight [ tickets ] kicks off a five-week tour later this month as he looks to build support for his most recent studio effort, "Ten."

The New York native will kick off his trek April 25 in San Diego, with 23 shows scheduled from the end of the month through early June. The itinerary is included below.

Opening support on the outing will come from fellow R&B artists Joe and Sunshine Anderson.

"Ten," not coincidentally the singer's tenth full-length studio release, hit stores last December. The disc has already spawned two Top 5 singles on Billboard's Urban Adult Contemporary chart in "Find Myself In You" and "Used to Be My Girl." A third single, "What's My Name," recently hit radio stations.

The platinum-selling Joe (born Joseph Lewis Thomas) is backing his forthcoming sixth album, "Ain't Nothing Like Me," due in stores April 24. Anderson's newest set, January's "Sunshine at Midnight," is the singer's first studio album in six years.
