Briefly: Courtney Love, The Wonder Stuff, Chicago, Rascal Flatts

Courtney Love reached a plea agreement Thursday (2/10) that will keep her from serving jail time.

She pleaded no contest to an assault charge for allegedly throwing a liquor bottle at a woman sleeping on a sofa in Love's ex-boyfriend's home, and later pleaded guilty to a drug charge in connection with an earlier break-in at the same house.

The charges against Love were reduced from felonies to misdemeanors, and she agreed to anger-management counseling, random drug testing and three years' probation.
