Briefly: Courtney Love, The Wonder Stuff, Chicago, Rascal Flatts
Courtney Love reached a plea agreement Thursday (2/10) that will keep her from serving jail time.
She pleaded no contest to an assault charge for allegedly throwing a liquor bottle at a woman sleeping on a sofa in Love's ex-boyfriend's home, and later pleaded guilty to a drug charge in connection with an earlier break-in at the same house.
The charges against Love were reduced from felonies to misdemeanors, and she agreed to anger-management counseling, random drug testing and three years' probation.
British rock band The Wonder Stuff has re-formed, and will issue their first U.S. album in more than a decade March 22.
Founding Wonder Stuff members Miles Hint and Malcolm Treece are joined on the set--titled "Escape from Rubbish Island"--by Amen drummer Luke Johnson and ex-Radical Dance Faction bassist Mark McCarthy
Rascal Flatts vocalist/bassist Jay DeMarcus is currently in the studio producing a new album for the band Chicago .
According to a press release, DeMarcus is working on the Chicago album--which is expected in stores sometime this year--during off days from Rascal Flatts' current tour.
