Bruce Cockburn tours behind first new album in four years
Canadian singer-songwriter Bruce Cockburn has mapped out a North American tour in support of his latest collection, "You've Never Seen Everything," which hit stores on June 10.
The jaunt kicks off on July 2 in Brantford, Ontario, and so far reaches into September.
"You've Never Seen Everything," Cockburn's 27th album, features guest appearances by Emmylou Harris, Jackson Browne, Sarah Harmer and Sam Phillips. It is his first album of new material since 1999's "Breakfast in New Orleans Dinner in Timbuktu," which won a Juno Award, Canada's equivalent to a GRAMMY®.
Co-produced by Cockburn and Colin Linden, the new album was recorded in Toronto, Montreal, Nashville, and Los Angeles.
Best known for his songs "The Trouble With Normal," "Lovers in a Dangerous Time" (which was covered by fellow Canadians Barenaked Ladies) and "If I Had a Rocket Launcher," Cockburn was inducted into the Canadian Broadcast Hall of Fame in October.
