Cage the Elephant takes on US clubs this fall

Alt-rockers Cage the Elephant will take to the road this fall for a US tour in support of their eponymous debut.

The trek--which continues with a performance tonight (10/21) in South Burlington, VT--spans three months, stopping by clubs and theaters across the nation, and wraps with a Dec. 12 show in Las Vegas. The full schedule is shown below.

The five-piece rock outfit released "Cage the Elephant" last May. The album, which debuted at No. 171 on The Billboard 200, later peaked at No. 67 on the magazine's chart, spurred by minor radio hit "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked."

"We recorded [the album] fast in ten days," guitarist Brad Shultz explained in an interview with the UK's The Sun. "A song a day. Our producer Jay Joyce is so good at catching the vibe anyway. He's an old school punker who's worked with Iggy Pop, The Wallflowers and did the soundtrack for 'Pulp Fiction.'"

The Kentucky-based band's most recent single, "Back Against the Wall," and its accompanying video are currently streaming at the group's MySpace page.
