The Dave Koz [ tickets ] and Friends at the Movies Summer Tour is set to kick off next month, with the smooth-jazz saxophonist sharing the stage on most dates with jazz pianist David Benoit [ tickets ], soul singer Phil Perry [ tickets ] and 19-year-old pop singer Kelly Sweet.

The outing gets under way June 3 in Columbia, MD, and hits US cities from coast to coast through an Aug. 19 finale in Los Angeles. The itinerary is listed below. Details about which artists appear on each date are available at Koz's website.

The shows will feature each artist playing his or her hits during the first half, and then the entire bill will join together to perform selections from Koz's latest album, "At the Movies."

The January release, which features a 40-piece orchestra and was produced by Phil Ramone (Rod Stewart, Tony Bennett), pays homage to music from classic films. Guest artists including Barry Manilow, Vanessa Williams, India.Aire, Anita Baker and Donna Summer join Koz on movie classics such as "Moon River," "The Way We Were," "It Might Be You," "Somewhere" and "A Whole New World." "At the Movies" follows Koz's 2003 studio album, "Saxophonic," which spawned smooth jazz chart-topping singles "Honey-Dipped," "All I See is You" and "Let it Free."

In a career spanning nearly two decades, Koz has scored two gold album awards, 10 Top 5 hits and several Grammy nominations.

The saxophonist is also the host of a syndicated radio show, a co-founder of the Rendezvous Entertainment record label and has served as Global Ambassador for The Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation for the past 15 years.
