David Cook stays on the road through fall
For the second time this month, season-seven "American Idol" winner David Cook has tacked several new shows onto his upcoming fall run behind his self-titled debut.
The next round of his excursion kicks off Nov. 3 in Phoenix and now comprises nearly a dozen additional stops, including Houston (11/7), Atlanta (11/23) and Orlando (11/28), among others. The trek extends through a Dec. 1 concert in Charlotte, NC. The full schedule is shown below.
Cook released his eponymous full-length debut last November after setting a record when, one week after he won the "American Idol" title, 11 of his songs simultaneously entered the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Digital Songs charts.
Produced by Grammy Award winner Rob Cavallo (Kid Rock, Green Day), Cook's platinum-certified debut features 13 tracks, nine of which he co-wrote with established songwriters like Chris Cornell and Brian Howes.

Late last month, Cook's single "Time of My Life" won the "Song of the Year" category at the Nashville Music Awards. Later this year, Cook will join Dolly Parton and Brad Paisley as special guests on FOX-TV's "Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special," which is set to air Dec. 7.
