Daylight Division: rock's newest hybrid

Members of P.O.D. , Chevelle and Papa Roach have teamed with Canadian vocalist Lukas Rossi , winner of CBS Television's "Rock Star: Supernova," to form a new band, Daylight Division .

The new quartet, featuring P.O.D.'s Marcos Curiel on guitar, Chevelle's Joe Loeffler on bass and Papa Roach's Dave Buckner on drums, recently recorded two songs, which are featured at the band's MySpace page, according to a press release. Both tracks were produced by Jay Baumgardner, known best for his work with Seether, Evanescence and Helmet.

Daylight Division, currently unsigned, has begun talking with record labels. In the meantime, the band is in the studio working on its debut album.
