Eagles, Trace Adkins, Kid Rock added to CMA Awards lineup
The Eagles are among the newly announced performers for "The 42nd Annual CMA Awards ," which airs live Nov. 12 from the Sommet Center in Nashville, according to a press release. The band is nominated for CMA Vocal Group of the Year, their third nomination in that category.
The Eagles join an eclectic lineup of newly-announced performers including Trace Adkins , Kid Rock and Lady Antebellum . In addition, The Wailers will make their CMA Awards debut, joining Kenny Chesney to perform their No. 1 collaboration "Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven," from the country singer's upcoming album "Lucky Old Sun."
Also performing at this year's CMAs will be co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, George Strait, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.
