Edwin McCain tours through the end of the year

Edwin McCain , who started his 2004 roadwork back in February, plans to keep his tour bus rolling for the rest of the year.
McCain's tour--which continues tonight (8/19) with a show in Farmingdale, NY--now includes a full battery of September and October dates, as well as a handful of November stops and a December two-night stand in Chicago. Details are shown below.
In the midst of his busy tour schedule, McCain managed to drop a new album in June. Titled "Scream & Whisper," the set is the singer/songwriter's first release for DRT Records, and is the follow-up to last year's acoustic set, "The Austin Sessions."
McCain parted ways with Lava/Atlantic Records in December of 2001, and "went through a dark stretch" before signing with DRT and creating "Scream & Whisper," according to a biography posted at his website.
"Honestly, I'm so glad that all that stuff happened because I wouldn't have the attitude that I have now," McCain is quoted as saying in the biography. "I don't think I would understand how much I love this, and how much I love playing ... It's not about chart positions or record sales or anything like that, it just has to do with people coming together and sharing a moment, that's it."
