Electronic fest expands schedule

This year's Electric Daisy Carnival in downtown Los Angeles will be extended to two days, June 26-27, with appearances by Paul Oakenfold , Fatboy Slim, ATB, Paul van Dyk, David Guetta and Benny Benassi among others, according to a press release.

The Southern California electronic-music event will be held for the second time at the LA Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Park.

In addition to five stages of music, EDC will feature "a mind-blowing array of attractions, more full-size carnival rides ... and an intensely surreal assortment of art installations and performers" in six themed areas, according to organizers.

One and two-day tickets go on sale April 21 and will be available online at the event's website, as well as select independent retail outlets. VIP packages will be announced at a later date.
