Everclear looks at its hits 'In A Different Light'

Everclear , which recently inked a multi-album deal with 429 Records, plans to revisit some of its best-known songs with the Oct. 6 release of "In a Different Light," according to a press release. The album will feature newly interpreted recordings of such hits as "Father of Mine" and "Santa Monica."

"In a Different Light" also will include two new songs penned by frontman Art Alexakis.

Alexakis and his band will hit the road Oct. 5, playing shows across the US through the end of the year. Everclear also is expected to tour extensively next spring and summer in support of an album of new material scheduled to be released in the Spring of 2010.
