If Ben Folds didn't make music, he'd probably be a comedian. One doesn't have to look far to see evidence of his sense of humor.

From his lyrics, to teaming with "Weird Al" Yankovic, to the planned antics of his MySpace concert (the first ever on the site), to the staged "leak" of a fake version of his new album in July (which, he confessed to Australia's Triple J Radio, was cooked up in one overnight session in Dublin as a joke on his fans), Folds' wit has always been on display.

In all seriousness, Folds' new album, "Way to Normal," is due out tomorrow (9/29), and Folds is proud of it. Quoted in a press release, he said "This new album is really about me being free, which is why it feels cathartic and expressive. It's about me coming back to being myself."

You can catch Ben Folds as he continues to tour the US through mid November. Currently, he's on the East coast and will hit up the Midwest and Texas before playing his two final shows in California.

LiveDaily photographer Peter Keeling attended Folds' show in Boston on Friday and took some photos of the man at his beloved piano.
