When one thinks of Bjork , the first adjective that pops up is probably "unpredictable." The Icelandic singer has been adept at mixing genres and reinventing herself throughout her long career.
Twenty years ago last year, The Sugarcubes ' album "Life's Too Good" gave Bjork her first taste of international success. She exited that group four years later and began her solo career with her 1993 album, "Debut" (not to be confused with her first debut from 1977, when she was only 12 years old). "Debut" produced her first solo hit, "Human Behaviour," and NME named it their album of the year.
Previewing songs from her 2007 release, "Volta," Bjork performed that spring at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA. LiveDaily’s Tim Mosenfelder was on hand with his camera, and here are some of his photos.
