Maryland soul-metal rockers Clutch are a touring machine, following the old adage "It's not about the destination, but rather the journey itself." Making good use of their travels during their '07-'08 world tour, the band released three live albums last year alone.

Beginning in 1991, bandmates Neil Fallon (vocals, guitar), Tim Sult (guitar), Dan Maines (bass) and Jean-Paul Gaster (drums) got their loyal following the old fashioned way: by performing constantly in and around their native Germantown, MD. Clutch is currently touring through early October in support of their ninth studio album, "Strange Cousins From The West" and tonight (7/24) they will be in Seattle, WA. Wednesday night (7/22), I caught up with them in San Francisco, and here are some of my photos.
