Anyone in need of inspiration during these tough times need only take a look at the legendary career of Country Music Hall of Famer Loretta Lynn for proof that one can rise above tough circumstances.

Born in 1934 during the Great Depression, Lynn grew up in abject poverty, with little else to entertain herself besides singing. By the time she left home at the tender age of 13, she had already developed a unique and confident vocal style. Decades later, the amount of accolades she's earned is so large it nearly needs it's own zip code.

Loretta Lynn will be on tour throughout the year, with 23 shows currently scheduled. Fans who attend her show at Fisher Auditorium in Indiana, PA, (4/17) should remember to sing "Happy Birthday" for her, as it will be 3 days after her 75th.

LiveDaily photographer Jason Sales attended Lynn's show in Tulsa on Sunday (3/8), and here are some of his shots.
