Grammy award winning R&B singer Ne-Yo first gained success in the music business as young songwriter, helping established artists to achieve platinum-certified singles like "Let Me Love You" for Mario and "Irreplaceable" for Beyonce Knowles. So it's no surprise that when he began to record his own material, it was immediately well received.

His 2006 debut album, "In My Own Words," won him five Top 10 tracks on the Billboard Hot 100, and the two albums he has produced since each reached No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart.

Having just wrapped up a jaunt through Europe and Asia, Ne-Yo is back home in the US, touring in support of his current album, "The Year of The Gentleman." LiveDaily photographer Tim Mosenfelder attended Ne-Yo's concert last week at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, CA, and here are some of his best photos.
