It's been almost 15 years since Jerry Garcia died and 36 years since founder "Pigpen" McKernan passed away, yet The Grateful Dead have never stopped looming large in the hearts of their fans.

Last month (4/12), the band's surviving members, touring as The Dead , hit the road to perform long setlists of old favorites such as "Dark Star," "Shakedown Street" and "Fire on the Mountain." Grateful Dead alumni Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart are joined on the tour by friends Warren Haynes on guitar and Jeff Chimenti on keyboards. Audiences seemed to relish the chance to dress in classic hippie garb and relive the '60s, if only for a few of hours.

The Dead perform their last scheduled show of their spring tour tomorrow (5/16) at The Gorge in Quincy, WA. LiveDaily's Tim Mosenfelder attended their show in Mountain View, CA, yesterday (5/14). Here are some of his best shots.
