Flyleaf books a new round of headlining dates
With their maiden headlining tour now underway, rockers Flyleaf have scheduled round two with special guests Kill Hannah , Sick Puppies and Resident Hero .
The just-confirmed second leg of the "Justice & Mercy" tour kicks off May 5 in Dallas and wraps up June 15. The tour's current leg runs through April 30, and features support acts Skillet and Fair to Midland, with Dropping Daylight and Resident Hero splitting time in the opening slot.
Tickets for the May/June dates go on sale this weekend in most markets, according to a press release. A presale begins Wednesday (4/4) for members of Flyleaf's fan club. For more information, visit the group's website.
Flyleaf is vocalist/lyricist Lacey Mosley, guitarists Sameer Bhattacharya and Jared Hartmann, bassist Pat Seals, and drummer James Culpepper. The group's self-titled album has produced two singles: "I'm So Sick" and "Fully Alive." This spring, the band will release a third single, "All Around Me."
After its headlining run, Flyleaf will return to stages this summer as part of Korn's Family Values tour. The festival's fifth installment, which is set to kick off July 20 in St. Louis, MO, will also feature co-headliners Evanescence, as well as Atreyu, Trivium and Hellyeah, a new band comprising Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott and members of Mudvayne and Nothingface. The itinerary has yet to be announced.
