Foo Fighters, ZZ Top play 25th anniversary Love Ride

The Foo Fighters and ZZ Top have been tapped to co-headline Love Ride 25, billed as the world's largest 1-day motorcycle fundraiser.

The Oct. 26 show at Fairplex in Pomona, CA, is the featured event of California Bike Week (Oct. 24-26), according to a press release. The Blasters and Lee Rocker are scheduled to perform on CBW's opening day.

Jay Leno, who has served as Love Ride Grand Marshall since its inception, will again preside this year as approximately 25,000 bikers from around the world gear up to parade down Glendale's main drag, Brand Boulevard, before driving together to the Fairplex.

At the Fairplex, the concert will cap the Love Ride event, which includes a barbecue lunch, motorcycle trade show, vendor village, stunt exhibitions, award ceremonies and more.

Love Ride was launched in 1984 to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The annual event now raises money for an array of Southern California non-profit organizations and children's charities.
