Fresh off several mid-summer appearances at big outdoor festivals, gypsy-punk collective Gogol Bordello [ tickets ] has lined up a fall North American headlining trek.

The New York-based outfit, which counts nine musicians among its expansive traveling crew, launches the outing Oct. 3 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The tour travels roughly down the West Coast during its first two weeksbefore heading eastward and finishing with a Halloween show in New Orleans. Details are included below.

After the North American dates, the band will take a breather in November before departing for a December tour of mostly Eastern European venues, along with a pair of shows in Israel. Those dates can be found at the group's website.

Gogol Bordello continues to support its latest studio effort, 2007's "Super Taranta!," which hit No. 15 on Billboard's Top Independent albums chart, and also came in at No. 14 on Rolling Stone's "Top 50 Albums of 2007" list, with the tune "Ultimate" making it into the magazine's "100 Best Songs of 2007."

The band--led by Ukrainian-born singer/songwriter Eugene Hutz--has released four studio albums, including a pair of double LPs: 2002's "Multi Kontra Culti vs. Irony" and 2005's "Gypsy Punks: Underdog World Strike." The group's debut album, "Voi-La Intruder," surfaced in 1999.
