Jenny Lewis unveils solo trek

Jenny Lewis has mapped an extensive spring and summer tour of the US behind her second studio album, last year's "Acid Tongue."
Following an eight-date Australian leg, Lewis will launch the sizeable US outing April 10 in Honolulu before returning to the mainland for club and theater gigs from coast to coast through early July. Stops at Indio, CA's Coachella Festival (3/18), Manchester, TN's Bonnaroo Festival (6/13) and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival (6/19) are also scheduled. The full itinerary is below.
Opening support will come from The Sadies, Deer Tick and Heartless Bastards, who will alternate opening shows for the indie rocker. Bon Iver is set to open the July 9 finale in Salt Lake City.
The Rilo Kiley frontwoman is backing her 2008 solo release, "Acid Tongue," which debuted at No. 24 on The Billboard 200 chart and garnered rave reviews from Rolling Stone and Pitchfork Media. "Welcome to Van Nuys," a documentary focused on the making of the album featuring behind-the-scenes footage and the live tracking of several "Acid Tongue" songs, will hit stores soon, according to a press release.
