Country star Jo Dee Messina [ tickets ] will head out on the fall leg of her "Music Room Series Tour"--an outing featuring intimate settings coupled with conversation between songs--in advance of her long-awaited new album, "Unmistakable."

The multi-platinum singer/songwriter kicks off the roadwork with a Nov. 5 performance in Mesa, AZ, before working her way along the West Coast through that month's end. A two-night stand Nov. 27-29 in Reno, NV, rounds out the fall schedule.

After the holidays, Messina will return to the tour trail for a so far sporadic handful of 2010 dates that stop by casinos and fairs across the nation through next October. Details are shown below.

"Unmistakable," Messina's first album of new material since 2005's "Delicious Surprise," will hit retailers in the spring. No word yet on the forthcoming set's exact release date.

"With the 'Unmistakable' album, it lets people see a different side of me than they have seen in the past," the singer said in a press release. "For example, I actually recorded straight forward love songs on this album, something I am definitely not known for."

"That's God," the lead single from the pending record, will be released to radio stations in January.

Messina broke onto the country music scene with her self-titled debut, which surfaced in 1996. Since then, the performer has churned out nine No. 1 singles among five studio albums, as well as a Grammy nomination and a 1998 win for Top New Female Vocalist at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
