Josh Rouse readies next release

Josh Rouse will release a new album next year that features originals and covers sung in English and Spanish and is flavored with sounds of Cuba, Brazil, Spain and Venezuela, according to a press release.

Titled "El Turista," the album is set for a Feb. 16 release on Rouse's Bedroom Classics label.

"El Turista" is the follow-up to Rouse's 2007 album, "Country Mouse, City House." The artist also released "The Best of the Rykodisc Years" in 2008.

Rouse is expected to mount a US tour sometime next year in support of the new album.
