Julian Casablancas [ tickets ] will play a month-long residency at The Downtown Palace Theatre in Los Angeles, according to a statement posted at his website. The Strokes frontman will perform every Friday in November (11/6, 13, 20, 27) at the downtown LA venue.

Casablancas' debut solo record, "Phrazes For The Young," will be available in the US Nov. 3.
