Kasabian readies new album

Kasabian 's new release, "The West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum," is scheduled to hit stores June 9 in the United States. The album follows the band's sophomore set, "Empire," which debuted at No. 1 on the UK charts, according to a press release.

The band will offer fans a sneak peek with a free download of "Vlad the Impaler" beginning March 31 for four days only. The track will be available--beginning at 3:30 pm (EDT)--exclusively at the group's website.

A trailer for the single will be available on YouTube beginning April 1.

Kasabian will play a Teenage Cancer Trust headline show at the Royal Albert Hall March 27.
