Singer/songwriter Kate Voegele [ tickets ] will hit the road this fall for a fresh batch of dates in support of her sophomore studio effort, "A Fine Mess."

The Ohio native kicks off the outing close to home with an Oct. 7 show in Cleveland. The 13-city trek heads east for dates in Boston (10/14) and Washington, DC (10/16) before wrapping Oct. 24 in McAllen, TX. Details are included below.

Voegele--who has been performing and recording as a solo artist since releasing a demo in 2003, "The Other Side," produced by Michael Seifert (Tori Amos, Regina Spektor)--has appeared on the CW Network drama "One Tree Hill" since 2008, portraying aspiring musician Mia Catalano, exposure that has proven valuable to her off-camera music career, she said.

"It's really been unbelievable the way that my music has taken off," Voegele told LiveDaily earlier this year. "It's really been this amazing, unconventional, innovative little path to where I'm at. I owe all of that really to the incredible means by which 'One Tree Hill' has woven the music into their storyline. It's been pretty amazing."

"A Fine Mess," which surfaced in May, follows Voegele's first full-length set, "Don't Look Away," which debuted in the Top 10 on the iTunes Album Chart as well as Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and the Top Digital Albums chart.

"I've been playing and writing those songs on the first record since I was 15," Voegele added. "So it's really awesome to be putting some new material out there. Those songs on the first record, I love those songs. But, man, I've been playing them forever. So it's really fun to have something fresh for the gig."
