Bluesman Keb' Mo' [ tickets ] gets busy in early 2007 with a US headlining tour that backs his latest album, last year's "Suitcase."

So far, a month-long stretch is lined up, which kicks off March 6 in Charleston, SC. Stops are confirmed in about two-dozen cities, most of which are set in the East and Midwest. Details are included below.

Released in June, "Suitcase" follows dual 2004 releases from Keb' Mo': "Keep It Simple," a Grammy-winning collection of Mo' originals; and "Peace ... Back by Popular Demand," on which Mo' covered nine classic protest and peace songs originally recorded in the '60s and early '70s.

Last month, "Suitcase" picked up Grammy nominations for Best Contemporary Blues Album and Best Engineered Non-Classical Album. The winners will be named during the 49th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony, which is scheduled to air live Feb. 11 on CBS-TV.

A win in the Best Contemporary Blues Album Category would be the artist's fourth; 1996's "Just Like You," 1998's "Slow Down" and 2004's "Keep It Simple" have each scored the musician a trophy.

A native of Compton, CA, Mo'--real name Kevin Moore--has made a name for himself with a sound that is a mixture of folk, blues, rock and jazz, and has cited Robert Johnson as one of his main influences.
