Lovett plots more shows with Hiatt, Ely and Clark

Lyle Lovett , John Hiatt , Joe Ely and Guy Clark will again team up during a stretch of February dates that follow a round of headlining shows for the Lyle Lovett Acoustic Trio.

The foursome, whose most recent string of co-headlining performances took place in November, is currently scheduled to knock out five mid-February shows, one of which is set in Ontario, and the rest of which take place in the northeastern U.S.

Those shows come on the heels of Lovett's January excursion at the helm of the Lyle Lovett Acoustic Trio, which launches its outing Jan. 20 in Galveston, TX, and is scheduled to make stops in seven cities by month's end. Details are included below.

Lovett continues to support his latest album, 2003's "My Baby Don't Tolerate," which is his inaugural effort for Lost Highway Records and his first collection of original solo material since 1996's "The Road to Ensenada."

Hiatt's latest studio release is last June's "Master of Disaster." A new concert CD and separate DVD titled "Live from Austin," which captures Hiatt's 1993 performance for PBS's "Austin City Limits" concert series, followed in November.

Ely's most recent collection of new material is 2003's "Streets of Sin." "Settle for Love," a compilation of previously released works culled from 1987's "Lord of the Highway" and 1988's "Dig All Night," surfaced in 2004.

Clark's latest, meanwhile, is 2002's "The Dark," which houses a dozen original tracks.
