Soul singer Marc Broussard [ tickets ] will take a break from writing his new album to embark on a fall acoustic outing dubbed the the "Welcome to My Living Room" tour.

The Louisiana-based performer will be joined by longtime drummer Chad Gilmore and Sons of William frontman/guitarist Joe Stark for the trek, which kicks off with a Sept. 18 stop in Baton Rouge, LA. The 18-date outing concentrates on the eastern half of the nation, with only a handful of West Coast concerts planned, including a two-night stand Oct. 26-27 in Los Angeles. The excursion concludes with the 10th annual Rock Boat, a five-night cruise to Mexico slated to leave Tampa Jan. 7 and return to port Jan. 11. The full schedule is below.

"Keep Coming Back," Broussard's fourth studio set and most recent release, hit shelves last fall. The 11-track album, which was recorded in 11 days at Nashville's Ocean Way Studios, marks the musician's Atlantic Records debut.

According to Broussard's website, he is currently working on a new album. The intimate acoustic run will preview some of the new material, as well as some of Broussard's earliest work.
