Mariah Carey spends second week at No. 1
Pop diva Mariah Carey 's "E=MC2" moved 182,000 copies during its second week in stores, enough to hold onto its spot atop The Billboard 200 album chart.
Carey's latest album again outsold Leona Lewis ' "Spirit," which settles in at No. 2 for its second consecutive week. The self-titled debut album from parody musical duo Flight of the Conchords enters the chart at No. 3 on sales of 52,000, according to Billboard, which bases its flagship album chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.
Ashlee Simpson 's "Bittersweet World" moved 47,000 copies during its debut week and checks in at No. 4, while Atmosphere 's "When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint the S--- Gold" enters the chart at No. 5 on sales of 36,000.
Rounding out the Top 10 are the "NOW 27" hits compilation, the "Juno" soundtrack, George Strait 's "Troubadour," Taylor Swift 's self-titled debut, and Phil Vassar 's "Prayer of a Common Man."
