Marilyn Manson lines up post-Mayhem headlining dates

Marilyn Manson will head out on the road for a late-summer headlining run following his ongoing Mayhem Festival trek with Slayer.
The headlining trek follows less than a week after the Mayhem trip comes to a mid-August close, beginning with an Aug. 21 Las Vegas date. The 10-city tour winds down Sept. 13 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the tail end of a four-night stretch of Canadian shows.
The Mayhem Festival continues tonight (7/28) in Toronto. Details for all of Manson's currently confirmed shows are included below.
Produced by Manson, bassist Twiggy Ramirez and keyboardist Chris Vrenna, the singer's latest studio album, "The High End of Low," surfaced in May. The set's first official single, "Arma... geddon," hit radio stations a month earlier.
"I think my life definitely ended and began," Manson said in a statement. "The record sounds very final, but it's almost optimistic--though that feels like a strange word to use. It's a phoenix from the fire and a redemption resurrection."
The album debuted at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 album chart.
