Maynard James Keenan's Puscifer to make live debut
Maynard James Keenan, best known as the frontman for rock heavyweights Tool and A Perfect Circle, has lined up a Las Vegas engagement that will serve as the concert debut of his latest project, Puscifer .
The group will hit the stage Feb. 13 and 14 at The Pearl--located inside the Palms Resort and Casino--for a "cabaret-style show," according to a press release. Tickets are priced at $39 plus fees, and go on sale Saturday (12/13) via Ticketmaster. (Ticketmaster is LiveDaily's parent company.)
"Expect a loosely organized bucket of Romper Room chaos sprinkled with Dry Wit and Brown Note Booty Bumping Sub Bins," Keenan said in a prepared statement. "And perhaps some snacks."
Last year, Keenan offered up the debut album from Puscifer. Dubbed "V is for Vagina," the set features a lengthy list of guest musicians, including Mat Mitchell, Tim Alexander, Jonny Polonsky, Danny Lohner, Gil and Rani Sharone, Lustmord, Laura Milligan, Milla Jovovich, Lisa Germano, and Alan Moulder. A number of cuts from the release are streaming at Puscifer's MySpace page.
