Miley Cyrus to play second Concert for Hope
Miley Cyrus will take a night off from her Wonder World Tour to headline the second annual Concert for Hope Oct. 25 at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live in Downtown Los Angeles, according to a press release. Joining Cyrus at the benefit concert will be fellow Disney Music Group artists Demi Lovato and Jesse McCartney .
The event, presented by Staples, Inc., benefits lifesaving cancer research and treatment programs at City of Hope, one of the nation's leading cancer centers.
This year's concert continues Disney and Cyrus' support of the cancer-research institution. On her last tour, the teen pop star raised more than $2 million for City of Hope. This year, she is donating $1 from every ticket sold during her current tour.
Cyrus, Lovato and the Jonas Brothers also helped raise more than $1.2 million for City of Hope's cancer research efforts at last year's Concert for Hope.
