Old 97's Set For Spring Album, Club Tour

The Old 97's will release their new album, "Blame It On Gravity," May 13, then will hit the road for a three week nationwide club tour, according to a press release.

"Blame It On Gravity," the band's seventh album, is the 97's first studio release in four years. Since the band's last studio release, 2004's "Drag It Up," the 97's have released a double live album and a live DVD, as well as appearing prominently in the movie "The Breakup." The first single from the new album is streaming at the band's MySpace page.

The Old 97's are scheduled to appear at South By Southwest this year, followed by a club tour with dates to be announced soon.
