Opeth to thrash North America this winter

Fans of Swedish death-metal are in luck: Opeth is heading to North America next month for a winter tour in support of its latest album, last year's "Ghost Reveries."

The run is scheduled to kick off Feb. 15 in Raleigh, NC, and shows are lined up through mid-March. Details appear below.

Joining Opeth during the February shows will be fellow Swedish death-metal outfit Dark Tranquility and industrial-metal act The Devin Townsend Band.

Dark Tranquility will also be on board for the currently confirmed March shows, as will Opeth's Roadrunner Records labelmates DevilDriver, with the exception of Opeth's March 2 show in Chicago, which is billed as "An Evening with Opeth."

"Ghost Reveries," Opeth's inaugural set for Roadrunner, landed in stores last August. The disc, which features the cut "The Grand Conjuration," was recently nominated for a Swedish Grammy, according to Opeth's website.

Those interested in checking out the music video for "The Grand Conjuration" can head over to Roadrunner's website.
