Pet Shop Boys anticipate North American 'Pandemonium'

British synth-pop icons Pet Shop Boys will return to North America this summer for a "Pandemonium Tour" behind their recent release, "Yes."

Following a month-long European run that kicks off next week, the duo--Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe--will bring the multimedia concert to North America beginning Aug. 29 in Montreal. The 18-date outing will touch down in major markets across the nation, including two-night stands in New York (9/1-9/2) and San Francisco (9/22-9/23). The trek wraps up Sept. 26 in Las Vegas. Details are below.

The forthcoming tour, which is being directed by Es Devlin and choreographed by Lynne Page, will feature songs from the new work, as well as some of the pair's greatest hits, according to a press release.

"Every night is Friday night on the tour," Chris Lowe said in a prepared statement.

"Yes," the duo's 10th studio album, hit shelves in late April and debuted at No. 32 on The Billboard 200, marking the band's highest-charting album since 1993's "Very." Since their start more than two decades ago, the Pet Shop Boys have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.

The pair is currently offering a free Tom Stephan remix of their single "Did You See Me Coming?" at the duo's website and fans can create their own mix of the track at the band's MySpace page.
