Prince celebrates new site with secret shows
Prince has announced the upcoming launch of his new website and will mark the occasion with three separate shows in the Los Angeles area.
Named for one of his upcoming albums, LotusFlow3r.com is set to go live March 24 and will give paid members the ability to download his two new albums, "LOtUSFLOW3R" and "MPLSoUND," as well as his collaboration with new artist Bria Valente entitled "Elixer," for free and ahead of their March 29 retail release. The annual fee of $77 will also include access to tickets for live shows, footage from previous concerts, exclusive information about private or secret shows and more, according to a press release.
The rock icon will perform three different sets March 24 at three still-undisclosed locations with three separate bands. Details for the shows will be unveiled at the new site in the coming days.
Prince also is scheduled to hold down a three-night stand on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" March 25-28 to promote his new releases.
