Rick Springfield lines up summer shows

Former teen heartthrob Rick Springfield will keep busy this summer with a string of shows that includes several appearances with other notable names from the '80s.
The "Jesse's Girl" singer, who is touring behind last year's "Live in Rockford" concert DVD, will hook up with Eddie Money and Scandal at several points, and has also scheduled an Aug. 3 co-headlining date with former Babys and Bad English frontman John Waite in Universal City, CA. Details are included in the itinerary below.

Springfield's most recent studio album is 2005's "The Day After Yesterday," a compilation of 14 cover versions of popular songs--of which Springfield, in a message posted at his website, said, "I wish I'd written"--including tunes by 10cc, Gerry Rafferty and The Beatles.
