Rob Thomas Gallery Spotlight: Las Vegas, NV - Oct. 24, 2009

Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Rob Thomas probably is best known as the frontman of the pop-rock band Matchbox Twenty , but these days he's nurturing his new baby--a second solo release, titled "Cradlesong."

The set peaked at No. 3 on the The Billboard 200 chart after it was released in June, nearly recreating history. In 2005 Thomas’ first solo album "...Something to Be," debuted at No. 1, thanks in no small part to producer Matt Serletic, who helped engineer both of Thomas' sets in addition to all four studio albums in the Matchbox Twenty catalog.

Rob Thomas is scheduled to tour North America through early December. Tonight (10/27), Denver fans can catch him at the Magness Arena. Last Saturday (10/24) he performed in Las Vegas, and LiveDaily Photographer Valerie Nerres was there to get some shots.
