Robbie Fulks to tour clubs behind 'Georgia Hard'

Singer/songwriter Robbie Fulks , set to drop his first new album in three years, is also lining up a club tour to support the set.
The country artist's itinerary is currently due to open May 20 in Iowa, and dates are set through August. More shows will be added, according to his publicist.
The upcoming release, titled "Georgia Hard," is scheduled to hit stores May 17. It features 15 new Fulks originals, which he self-produced and recorded in Nashville.
Guest players who appear on the album include Sam Bush (mandolin), Lloyd Green (steel guitar, dobro), Redd Volkaert (guitar), Hank Singer (fiddle), Alison Prestwood (bass) and Dennis Crouch (upright bass). Fulks' core band includes drummer Gerald Dowd, bassist Mike Frederickson, guitarist Grant Tye and keyboardist Joe Terry.
Though Fulks' albums have crossed into rock, he's best known for his county music, especially his widely acclaimed CDs "Country Love Songs" and "South Mouth."
