Rod Stewart cuts tour short
Rod Stewart has canceled the last three dates of his 16-show "One Rockin' Night" tour.
A throat ailment forced the cancellation of Thursday's (8/20) show at the BOK Center in Tulsa, OK, according to a spokesperson for the venue.
Saturday's (8/22) show at Post-Gazette Pavilion in Burgettstown, PA, and the final scheduled tour stop, Aug. 23 at Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater, previously were canceled due to scheduling conflicts, according to published reports.
Reps for Stewart told Radar Online that the singer, who has returned to his Los Angeles home, was prescribed antibiotics and ordered by his doctor to adhere to complete vocal rest for four days.
The shows are not expected to be rescheduled. Refunds are available at point of purchase.
