Scott Stapp sets club tour behind solo debut

Former Creed frontman Scott Stapp --who issued his first solo album, "The Great Divide," in November--takes to the road in late February to back the set.

The month-long outing is currently scheduled to visit clubs in 15 North American cities. A ticket presale kicks off Jan. 17 via Stapp's fanclub, and tickets go on sale to the general public on Jan. 21, according to Stapp's official website.

An email sent to registered members of Stapp's mailing list says that the singer's set lists for the outing will feature songs from "The Great Divide," as well as some past Creed hits.

The music video for the title track from "The Great Divide" can be viewed at Stapp's website.

Creed announced its break-up in June of 2004. Guitarist Mark Tremonti and drummer Scott Phillips, as well as original Creed bassist Brian Marshall--who split with the group in 2000--teamed with former Mayfield Four singer Myles Kennedy to form Alter Bridge , which released its debut set in 2004.
