Soulja Boy arrested after running from police

Soulja Boy was arrested in Atlanta Wednesday (107) and charged with obstruction. The 19-year-old rapper, whose name is DeAndre Cortez Way, was busted after running from police officers who were responding to a complaint about a group of youths hanging out at what appeared to be an abandoned house in Stockbridge, which is about 20 miles south of Atlanta, according to a CNN report.

When officers arrived at the home, they were told the gathering was a video shoot. Police Capt. Jason Bolton said Way ran from the police, and was arrested later when he returned to the house to retreive his car, according to the CNN report.

Way posted $550 bond and was released on Thursday (10/8).
