Switchfoot gets intimate with 'Hello Hurricane'
The day after their latest studio album, "Hello Hurricane," hits shelves, alt-rockers Switchfoot will take to the road for a two-week club tour behind the set.
The San Diego-based quintet will begin the intimate "An Evening with Switchfoot" outing with a Nov. 11 performance in West Hollywood before heading east through the Southern states. The 12-date trek returns to California for the final two shows: Nov. 27 in Anaheim and Nov. 28 in Ventura. Details are listed below.
Switchfoot will be performing "Hello Hurricane," the band's seventh studio effort, in its entirety during the fall run, according to the group's website. The album--the group's first on its own lowercase people records--is due in stores Nov. 10.
"Hello Hurricane" follows Switchfoot's 2006 release, "Oh! Gravity," which peaked at No. 18 on The Billboard 200
Switchfoot has also signed onto Dave Matthews Band's So Much to Save program, which is designed to promote and educate fans about recycling, saving energy and reducing their environmental impact. Fans who pledge to make a change can download the "So Much to Save" album, which includes Switchfoot's "Dirty Second Hands."
