SXSW Performer: Peter Bjorn and John (Stockholm, Sweden)

Everybody's favorite Swedish pop-vocal trio returns with another album full of highly hummable (if not quite as whistle-ready as 2006's preposterously catchy "Young Folks"), smart and funny tunes. And on the songwriting front, the group rolls out yet another hip-hop collaboration (the trio performed as Kanye West's backing band in 2007; the rapper this time is Canuck actor/musician Drake, whose latest album features a PB&J writing credit). Peter Bjorn and John 's new album, "Living Thing," is due in stores at the end of March.

Performing Thursday, March 19 at 1 a.m. at Emo's Main Room (603 Red River St.) and Friday March 20 at 10:45 p.m. at Cedar Street Courtyard (208 W 4th St.).
