Takka Takka: Exclusive Performance at LiveDaily Sessions

Takka Takka , a Brooklyn-based indie rock group, is the brainchild of vocalist/keyboardist/guitarist Gabriel Levine, who started it all by recruiting established friends to help him record live material for a demo back in 2004. The then-quartet played their first official gig as Takka Takka in a Williamsburg basement before delving into local touring and album recording.

Takka Takka's first album, 2006's "We Feel Safer at Night," impressed fellow indie rockers Clap Your Hands Say Yeah so much, they invited the boys to tour with them. Now, after a slew of US and British performances and a successful SXSW visit, the quintet is celebrating their brand new sophomore album, "Migration."
