The Clarks, Pseudopod head up 'Rubber Meets the Road' tour
Rock outfits The Clarks and Pseudopod set out this fall on a run dubbed the "Rubber Meets the Road" tour, which also features up-and-comers Ingram Hill and Ari Hest .
The outing kicks off on Oct. 2, and wraps up with a two-night stand in The Clarks' hometown of Pittsburgh on Nov. 25-26. The Clarks and Pseudopod appear on all dates; Ingram Hill is on board from Oct. 2 until Nov. 1, and Hest takes over from Nov. 4 through the end of the jaunt.
Pennsylvania quartet The Clarks released their most-recent album, "Another Happy Ending," in June of last year. The group has begun work on a follow-up album, according to itswebsite, but hasn't unveiled any additional details about the forthcoming album. Meanwhile, the group's cover of Bruce Springsteen's "The River" turns up on the recently released "Light of Day: A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen."
Pseudopod released its self-titled debut on Interscope in August of last year. Ingram Hill's debut, "Until Now," surfaced in March of last year, while Hest issued his third album, "Story After Story," last November.
