The Expendables plot early 2010 tour

Ska-influenced punk-rockers The Expendables will hit the road early next year on a winter jaunt shortly after wrapping work on the band's fifth studio album.
The Northern California group kicks off the trek Jan. 7 in Anaheim, CA, and will hit more than 40 cities during the nearly two-month-long outing, with opening support from Iration, Passafire, Pour Habit and Roots Down Below. Details are included below.
The Expendables continue to tour in support of their most recent studio album, a self-titled 2007 effort. The set followed 2004's "Gettin' Filthy," 2001's "Open Container" and the group's 2000 debut, "No Time to Worry."
According to a post on the band's Twitter feed this weekend, the group has finished recording its fifth studio album.
Produced by Butthole Surfers guitarist Paul Leary (Meat Puppets, Slightly Stoopid), the new album will feature appearances by a number of notable musical guests, including keyboardist Mark Boyce of G. Love and Special Sauce and lead guitarist/trumpeter El Hefe of NOFX.
